We take a break in the historical Arrowtown to see the Chinese settlement built during the gold rush. There are several shops, cafes and a bakery. After Arrowtown we will stop and watch bungee jumping at Kawarau Gorge. No one in our group takes the leap but we enjoy being spectators.Not far from the Gorge is a cheese factory and winery. Here we buy a cheese platter and take it inside the winery to enjoy a three glass wine sampler by the fireplace. New Zealand wines are awesome and I love the taste of fresh cheese. Could life get any better?
