This morning we headed out to Mission Beach after picking up our RVs. There was time to stop and stock up with a few groceries. The RVs are quite new and modern as was the ones in New Zealand. Again, I can’t say enough about how Fantasy does everything top-notch. I am sure we will be more than comfortable as we drive for the next few days along Australia’s rugged and beautiful coastline.
Our Mission Beach RV park is located across the street from a long stretch of white sandy beach. We can hear the surf pounding again the sand. It calls my name and Jim and I take a stroll. In front of us are Jan and Stan Deroo. I am already feeling the romance of Australia. What better setting than here in this tropics strolling along the water. Yes, this is what I love, roar of the surf and warm sand between my toes.Tomorrow we head to Billabong and the Wildlife Sanctuary. I hope to see a Cassowary along the highway as we drive. I am looking forward to catching a glimpse of this ugly bird in the wild.
