Australia’s Gold Coast provides a lovely spot to take a break. The campground here at Miami is just 7 km from the beautiful town of Surfer’s Paradise. Now for those of you, who are not up on the metric system, let me explain that equates to about ½ mile of white, gloriously warm sand beach. Fantasy impresses me one more time with how the tour is well organized and planned.

Ah, Surfers Paradise, only in Australia would you find a city with such a great name. The tall buildings are a great backdrop the wild waves so popular with surfers around the world. So, a day just to relax on the beach is just what the doctor ordered. Gorgeous blonde surfers riding huge curls, pounding waves on the beach and just a chance to do nothing but breathe in clean salt air.
Of course, last night our Aussie host put sausages on the Barbie and we had a great sausage cookout. I just can’t believe how warm and friendly how host country is to us. Would I recommend this tour? You bet your life I would. It is full of great friends, good people and fun, fun, fun.
