Today we will arrive at Franz Josef, a small village not far from the famous Westland National Park and glaciers. The Waiho River starts at the Franz Josef Glacier, runs through the village and drains into the mighty Tasman Sea. Since it was a short drive, we took the opportunity to drive to the coast and video the waves of the Tasman Sea crashing to shore. What a sight this wild bit of nature provides.
