On Day 30 of our wonderful tour we left in the morning on a boat heading for a ride to the Barrier Reef. A place that we have always wanted to go. We were instructed by the crew with all the options available. There were options to go scuba diving, snorkeling, riding in a semi-submersible sub, birding, guided tour while snorkeling and just plain relaxing. We chose the option of snorkeling. Wow! We have snorkeled in many places in the world but the beauty of the coral and fish was unbelievable! We were served snacks on board the boat and then a delicious buffet lunch. Our next choice was the semi-submersible sub. Down under the water level while we were being told what we were observing. It was fantastic seeing live clams almost two feet in diameter. Before we were ready to leave we were served cake, coffee or tea. A very special day for us. Fantasy sure knows how to pamper their customers.
