We continue to drive through the beautiful New Zealand countryside to our next destination, Te Anau.  It is a gorgeous day and the rolling green hill provides us with views of sheep, cows and the occasional deer.  New Zealand is the “Land of the Long White Cloud” and today we the sight of this phenomenon presents us with its beauty.   It hangs on the horizon, a wispy long white mist floating just above the emerald knolls.  This is exactly what I expected New Zealand’s scenery to appear.

Part of our group decided to take the scenic route through Invercargill.  They take the opportunity to go down to Bluff for some of their famous oysters.   On this journey they visit Lands End, the southernmost tip of New Zealand.
