After our group met with the Wagonmaster for 8 am travel day briefing, we left Te Anau for Queensland. The road to Queensland had spectacular scenery similar to Cabot’s Trail in Nova Scotia, Canada. Fantasy’s detailed trip log and the GPS that came with our RV campers made it very easy to navigate to our next Top 10 Holiday Park. Queensland is a resort destination for locals and tourists with a Gondola and Luge rides up on Bob’s Peak, as well as Bungee Jumping. Tandem Paragliding is exciting for the more adventurous -three of the tour members did the paraglide…they must have forgotten what their age is. More power to them!
Fantasy provided the Gondola ride up to Bob’s Peak, the views were breathtaking and the Luge ride was a BLAST! We all feasted on an outstanding buffet dinner
in the restaurant at the top of Bob’s Peak on delicious seafood, beef, pork, chicken, fish and a scrumptious assortment of deserts. A special day to be remembered.
