What anticipation we all had as we went to the Billabong Wildlife Sanctuary! First we were treated to a wonderful breakfast with the animals. Kangaroos were hopping around near us and we got the chance to even pet them. More excitement came when we were able to hold a wombat which is 
like a big baby and then a lovable koala in our arms. Koalas arereally a lazy animal but very loveable and everyone wanted to take one home with them.
The next adventure was seeing some of our brave friends on the Fantasy tour holding a baby crocodile and boa. Our next special moment was seeing the large and unique cassowary bird, which was very interesting for us. The cassowary bird is almost extinct in Australia and we felt fortunate to have the opportunity to see one.
