Our campground is on the beach just south of the famous Gold Coast city of Surfers Paradise. The white sand beach extends as far as one can see up and down the coast. We spend an extra day there to enjoy the area and for a “sausage sizzle” cookout that the campground puts on for our group. Sausages, caramelized onions, various salads and topped off with Tim Tams, the famous Australia cookies. What a traditional feast!
