We had a glorious sunny day for our tour in Auckland. We started the day off with breakfast at the top of the sky tower above the clouds like in an air plane. Our first stop was at Mount Eden which is a dormant volcano crater above the city. Of course dormant just means sleeping. We had a one hour guided tour of the War Museum where we saw lots of ancient Maori artifacts.
After visiting the Museum we headed to the harbor. The sun was shining on this beautiful city as we boarded our Pride of Auckland sailboat for a lunch cruise…talk about lunch with a view, it just doesn’t get any better! This is the “City of Sails”, so how appropriate that Fantasy includes a sailing excursion. Our group loved it!
